All About A BREATH OF WELLNESS
My intention as a professional Yoga Instructor is to help students listen to their inner selves and find the courage to step out of their comfort zone and into their yoga practice. It all begins with a little inquisitiveness, no expectations just belief, and being prepared to learn about yourself, your body and mind and then threading the pieces together. Yoga is a journey, not a quick fix. Most students learn from a physical aspect and then build up their layers through breath application, mindfulness, awareness to self, and learn the limbs of yoga they want to apply to their own practice. My style of yoga combines breath movement with physical movement, they flow together as a dance upon the music of the breath, so we perform a flow of movement connected to the breath and invite the body to become fluid and open, encouraging strength as the movement deepens. I teach a blend of yoga styles and create an intuitive style of yoga unique to the energy emitted from my students.
Just like playing an instrument, yoga teaches you to be present in the moment. Yoga asana becomes the dance and your breath the music. I hope that my students experience the joy that this practice gives to me.
