Yoga therapy differs from teaching yoga to students in a class environment. Knowledge gained as a yoga teacher and therapist helps me teach the client skills to assist on many levels of healing, both physically and mentally. I am treating a specific injury, emotion, or Illness. I help you learn to listen to your body and to understand through gentle exercise, breath work, and meditation how to heal and strengthen the body and mind. Yoga therapy is usually on a one to one basis, but workshops re. specific subjects can be arranged, eg. Mindfulness, managing a specific illness such as stroke. I will provide you with the tools to enhance and strengthen your mind, body and breath, and assist you to move forward after the injury or illness.
